Earth is being invaded by an alien armada, the entire planet is surrounded by hostile spaceships. Earth's protective gamma force field has been penetrated and atomic missiles from the alien craft are destroying the planet. "Xark" pilots the sole surviving fleetship is his sector, having seen the rest of his wing command blasted from the skies. He alone must defend his home planet, repelling wave after wave of alien ships.
