• Bracelet of Time: Complete the Story mode under the 2nd Climax difficulty with a "Gold" or higher rank in all chapters. It can be purchased for 200,000 Halos from The Gates of Hell. Have at least four Magic Orbs filled and use it to allow Bayonetta to use Witch Time without restrictions. However, she cannot activate it during normal dodges.
• Climax Brace: Get 50 Umbran Tears of Blood. It can be purchased for 500,000 Halos from The Gates of Hell. It allows unlimited magic power, which in turn allows your character to have unlimited Umbran Climax.
• Climax Brace II: Complete Story mode under the 2nd Climax difficulty setting with a "Platinum" rank. It can be purchased for 500,000 Halos from The Gates of Hell. It allows you to trade defense for additional power with Wicked Weave.
• Eternal Testimony: Get 25 Umbran Tears of Blood. It can be purchased for 500,000 Halos from The Gates of Hell. Each time your Magic is depleted, you will completely fill two Magic Orbs. This will allow you to reach Umbran Climax quickly.

• Mushroom Kingdom Princess and Sarasaland Princess: Allows you to summon the power of Bowser; Halos and Orbs become coins.
• Hyrule Costume: Allows you to parry enemy attacks without Moon of Mahaa-Kalaa; plays music from Zelda series when chests are opened; Halos and Orbs become rupees; Shuraba becomes Link's Master Sword.
• Galatic Bounty Hunter: Panther Within transformed into Samus's Morph Ball, allowing you to give Light damage to enemies; double-jump changed into Screw Attacks; gun attacks becomes into Samus' Classic Arm Cannon.

• Angelic Hymn #3a: Defeat Fidelity.
• Angelic Hymn #3b: Drop down into the Slanted Tower then search the eastern area. Collect both pieces to get Undine.

Chapter 5 "The Cathedral of Cascades"

• Angelic Hymn #4a: Dive into the water at the start of the chapter, then swim to the western shore. Destroy the resting place to collect it.
• Angelic Hymn #4b: Complete Verse #7, then go to the western side. Enter the door to find it. Collect both pieces to get Chernobog.

Chapter 8 "An Ancient Civilization"

• Angelic Hymn #5a: Defeat Allegiance.
• Angelic Hymn #5b: Complete Verse #7 but do not enter the portal. Instead, go to the back of it and search the resting place.

Chapter 9 "The Gates of Hell"

• Angelic Hymn #5c: Complete Verse #6, then drop on the platforms to see it in the distance. Collect all three pieces to get Takemikazuchi.

Chapter 10 "The Depths"

• Angelic Hymn #6a: At the start of the chapter, climb the rocks on the eastern side. Move along the rocks, fight some Greeds, then collect the Angelic Hymn piece.
• Angelic Hymn #6b: Defeat Resentment, then search the path on the eastern side to see it in the distance.
• Angelic Hymn #6c: Defeat Pain, then destroy the resting place. Collecting all three pieces to get Salamandra.

Special

• Super Mario 64 Angelic Hymn: Complete all chapters under the 3rd Climax difficulty setting. Collect it to get Chain Chomp.

Returning the lost record to Rodin allows you to gain a new weapon.

While the Wii U doesn't have a system analogous to Achievements on Xbox 360 or Trophies on PlayStation 3, both of which the original Bayonetta appeared on and took advantage of, there is an in-game list of "Bewitchments" the player can obtain by completing certain tasks, effectively functioning the same way. There are thirty in all.
