Cheat Codes/Hints

Easy "Jaxxed" Achievement

Key to this achievement is card named Demon Lord, t gives 2 strngth at the start of your turn. It's good to have other cards giving strength as well, but that is not necessary. Best opponent for this is at level 3 - those 3 black puddings that regenerate. Just make it so 2 of them are dead while 3rd one is up. Next turn kill 3rd one while 2 are up,control the situation (with growing strength ths shouldn't be a problem) and eventually you will reach 50 strength.

How to Save-Scum

To save your current progress:

Start playing Slay the Spire.
Go to your \Steam\steamapps\common\SlayTheSpire\saves folder.
Copy the IRONCLAD.autosave (or SILENT.autosave or ???.autosave) file to a folder location of your choice.
To load your saved progress:

Quit Slay the Spire.
Go to the folder location where you copied the IRONCLAD.autosave file to.
Copy the IRONCLAD.autosave (or SILENT.autosave or ???.autosave) file to your \Steam\steamapps\common\SlayTheSpire\saves folder.
Restart Slay the Spire and click on "continue".

How unlock cards and relics faster

Play a game of Slay the Spire as far as possible (ideally up to the last campfire before the last boss on dungeon level 3)
Save-scum-save the game (see section above)
Fight against (ideally: defeat) the final boss --> you'll receive experience
Save-scum-load the game (see section above) --> you'll receive experience AGAIN save-scum-YAY!

My Path Strategy

Campfire: This is since you can upgrade your cards and if you need it you can rest to get back 30% of your health.

Merchant: This is a good way to specialize your deck either by removing cards or buying new cards. You can also purchase relics and potions to boost your run. Remember that merchants will always have one card on sale. As a rule of thumb, have at least 75 gold before visiting merchant.

Elites: If you feel confident enough with your deck, try and challenges as many elites as you can for them sweet sweet relics. Most relics will have a insanely good effect.

Treasure: You'd think this would be higher up on the list but honestly since you don't really know what you'll get, it's not that good.

Unknown: This may end up being really good, but it may also be a really hard fight that won't benefit you at all. So due to the unknown nature of these events, they shouldn't be highly prioritized.

Enemy: This should obviously be the least of your priority. Regular enemies should only really be faced if they are in your path.

Upload your mod to the Steam Workshop

Using mod-uploader.jar
In the install directory of Slay the Spire, there is a file called 'mod-uploader.jar'.

Usage: java.exe -jar mod-uploader.jar [-h] [COMMAND] -h, --help Prints this help text. Commands: new Creates a new project workspace. (Start Here) Example: java.exe -jar mod-uploader.jar new -w mymod upload Uploads the contents of the mod workspace to Steam Workshop. Example: java.exe -jar mod-uploader.jar upload -w mymod

'new' will create a subdirectory called 'mymod' with some files in it and instructions on use. You will need to copy your mod to the 'content' folder within and add some store metadata to config.json.

'upload' will publish your mod to the Steam Workshop.
