Planescape: Torment

The Epic RPG from Black Isle Studios, the Producers of Baldur's Gate and Fallout 2.Welcome to Sigil, the "City of Doors," a place with gates that lead anywhere in existence, provided you have the proper key. It is a neutral ground and watering hole for races across the multiverse, all under the watchful shadow of the Lady of Pain, the enigmatic ruler of the city. Cheat Codes

Go into your "My Documents" folder. Find the "Planescape.lua" file. Add this line to the file

-SetPrivateProfileString('Program Options','Debug Mode','1')

Save the file. When you are playing the game you should now be able to hit [Ctrl]+Space and see a black box appear. Type in the appropriate code in the box and then hit enter.

Note: As of 2.0 the old code prefix "CLUAConsole:" no longer works. You can instead just use "C:"

Example: C:"code"()

Code - Effect

C:AddGold(x) - Adds x gold to your party total.
C:CreateCreature(x) - Creates the monster x. x must be in quotation marks.
C:CreateItem(x,y) - Creates y number of item x. If y is ommited, one x will be created. x must be in quotation marks.
C:ExploreArea() - Reveals map of the current area.
C:MoveToArea(x) - Teleports selected characters to the area x. x must be in quotation marks.
C:SetCurrentXP(x) - Sets the experience points of the currently selected characters to x. You can't go higher than the experience cap of 2950000, however.

Experience cheat

I've found that if you talk to the coffin-maker in the southeast corner of the Lower Ward and complete his quest for the warehouse (thereby gaining a map of your underground tomb), that you can keep talking to him again and again afterwards to gain 2000 experience points repeatedly. It worked well enough to gain my character about six levels in each class before it became tedious.

Fell

If you are stuck, need an extra boost of strength, dexterity, constitution or other attribute, or want something but do not know how to get it, see Fell the tattoo man.

Free Exp

You must be a sensate for this code. In the private sensorium activate the green stone where you talk to Ravel (make sure youve already talked to her once) then activate it again and answer in this order 1, 1 ,1 ,2 ,1 ,1 ,1 ,1 ,2 , 1 for 6000 xp repeat as necessary.

Get good spells for free early in the game

Go to the inn (Dorm) at the Sensate place in the clerks ward. Save your game and try to steal from the lady who gives you a room until you get a key. Go into the eastern room and search the cabinets on the north wall. There are also several charms that may come in handy later in the game.
