Age of Mythology

Build up your economy and upgrade very fast to the Mythic Age. Then, upgrade as much as possible while building your army. After that, destroy one temple near a town center to the west to get "Meteor Power". Your meat, wood and gold should be at about 20,000 and your favor at 200. Then, make a Wonder and send all your villagers to build it. Then you will get the gift from Zeus which will make Arkantos a very powerful demi-god. Note: You will lose the rest of your god powers, but it is worth it. Then, using the god power on Arkantos, start your attack. Note: A Poseidon statue must leave some queued on your military.

• You will face the Statue Of Poseidon and have the three god powers. You do not need to advance the age and build a Wonder. Enable the DIVINE INTERVENTION code several times, then use the bolt power on the Living Statue. Repeat this until it is destroyed.

Bring about five Laser Bears and attack Troy. You need to destroy three fortresses to win. Destroy the two on your left and leave the last fortress (on your right). After you have destroyed Troy, destroy the last fortress.

When playing the King of the Hill map, be Poseidon. As soon as the game starts, cast Lure just beside the Plenty Vault in the middle of the map. The Lure Stone will capture the vault. While it will not win you the game (unless if the vault is on an island), it will get you extra resources in the time it takes your opponent to try to reclaim it.

In the seventh or eighth campaign, the heroes Arkantos, Ajax, and Chiron must find three relics and safely return to the three temples. On their way they meet Shades (a type of unit that is invisible to enemy units). Shades cannot attack buildings but are very effective against Myth units. Click the Shade and select any enemy Myth unit (for example, Colossus, Hydra, or Kraken) to attack them. The Shades grab the enemy Myth unit's souls and diminish away. They can be used only once against a single Myth unit. Do not use Shades on ineffective Myth units such as Minotaur or Cyclops.

During gameplay, press enter and type the following codes(make sure the codes are in CAPS LOCK).

In single-player random map mode, worship the Egyptian god Set; use the code "Set Ascendant," which shows you all animals on the map. This will cause the lions, deer or crocodiles to fall under your control. It doesn't work for chickens, goats, or pigs.

Any time you see villagers starting to hunt an animal(deer, aurochs, etc.), immediately build a house directly nextto it when the animal drops dead on the land. That animal willbe disappear from existence. This causes your opponent to notget all of the food. Keep doing this repeatedly as villagers huntdown more and more animals, so as to waste your opponent's food.Delete your previously-created house in order to save your wood(except for when you play the Egyptians) and keep on buildinghouses over an already dead hunted animal. Note: This is veryuseful in multi-player Supremacy mode games, and can cause youropponent's civilization to fall apart rapidly if they initiallyresearched "Hunting Dogs" and/or if it is a hunting-typemap.

Play as Egyptians. When you get to the Mythic Age, choose Osiris as the Minor God. When you get the improvements and god power, click on the "New Kingdom" improvement. Wait for the second Pharaoh to be generated,then use Son of Osiris god power on the second Pharaoh. You will getanother Pharaoh in a few moments and you will then have one Son of Osiris and two Pharaohs.

To surf through multiple scenarios in "The Fallof the Trident" campaign simultaneously, use the followingtrick. Pause game play, then press [Enter] to display thechat box. Enable the CHANNEL SURFING code. Highlight thetext. Press [Ctrl] + C. Press [Enter] toenable the code, and then keep pressing [Enter] then [Ctrl]+ V then [Enter] repeatedly to allow the game toinitialize the loading of all the next scenarios in the campaign.Once you are finished duplicating, resume the game by pressing[Pause]. You should see the game loading the next scenario.Note: This will take awhile. The amount of time required to loaddepends on how many times you had duplicated.

If you want to get more duplicates enable the Divine Intervention code and pause game play. Then, activate theGod Power. Note: This works more effectively on flaming weapons,etc.

First just press the button that is on top of the capital letter button, not the shift the other one, the map will appear in all the screen, just that it will pause the game.

At first you will have three to five villagers. Find some animals that you can hunt, but have one villager build houses. Use all your meat to buy more villagers. When you have at least twenty five villagers, divide them into three groups. One group will gather the food, the other gold, and the last group wood.

• Use the following trick for an easy victory on any random map and some campaign maps. Enable the PANDORAS BOX code random god power until you get a Plenty Vault.Then enable the DIVINE INTERVENTION code until you have four or five. If you have not already done so, enable the L33T SUPA H4X0R code to accelerate building construction and unit production. Use some villagers or Ulfarsks to build a military production building (i.e. barracks); then select a desired unit for production and choose the "Repeat" button. This will pump your enemy's base full of your units continuously and ensure a complete victory.
  

• To win very easily on a 1 vs. 1 supremacy match against a Titan opponent, use Loki. You will need to do a rush attack on the CPU in the Archaic Age. To do this, just keep sending about five Ulfsarks near the CPU's Town Center. Then, circulate your units around his Town Center by using waypoints, patrol, and the "Stand Ground" stance close to his usual temple-building location, like the gold mine. Each and every time you catch a unit building any Temple, immediately try to kill that builder. Stay away from the Town Center's range as soon as you attack him. He will have to destroy the foundation, attack back, or run away. This causes him to waste his resources, thus advancing at a later time. Build a few houses or your own temple around his Town Center for a nice line of sight view of the "temple builder", then try to concentrate on gathering resources and researching improvements. Remember to cast "Spy" on a villager as well, and surround his Town Center with your Ulfsarks while staying at a far enough distance from arrow attacks. This will allow you to gain control of the enemy's land. If the temple builder attacks you, simply attack back from a safe distance, lure him into the darkness, or use some of your other reinforcements to team up against him. Watch out for newly created temple builders, and hunt down more temple foundations around his town center. You may want to also build some walls around his land to "confuse" the AI (block him off from going any further or near to resources). Note: If you allow a Titan player to build the Temple with success, you are almost always doomed. An exception is when you have military buildings, units, walls, and watch towers surrounding him already in the Classical Age, so it does not matter if he advances. Save regularly if you cannot multitask efficiently. Watch the CPU's temple builder and advance to the next age quickly. This concept applies for the Egyptians and Greeks as well. The only thing that you will now need is five villagers, your obelisk-casting priests, mercenaries, and scouts for some additional line of sight of the builder instead. Note: You are not supposed to be able defeat a Titan player on a Supremacy-type random map game; only in Campaign or Deathmatch modes.
  

Go into the editor. Click on the "Triggers"tab. Then, click "Triggers". Use the following stepto display god powers. Click on the "Effects" button.Click on "Insert". Go to the list and look for "GrantGod Power" or "Grant GP And Position". GP is anabbreviation for "God Power". Then, select what godpower you or the other players are to have. If you do not wantto wait three seconds for it to appear, just click on "Triggers"then click "Run Immediately".

Get a Nidhogg or any other flying creatures such asthe Phoenix, Roc, Pegasus, and Ravens. Place it at the very sideedges of the darkness located on the game map (seemingly like"Black/Dark Hell"). Kill yourself by pressing [Delete].This mythological creature will fall through the void and disappearinto oblivion. You can also place Greek heroes into Rocs and watchthem get killed instantly when entering the dark void. If not,they will die from nearby water or when they are simply droppedoff in the water because there is no room for land. Note: Do thisin the Scenario Editor with more flying units for your enjoyment.Also, there are many other terrains in which you can fall throughas well that are in the map editor or in one of the campaigns,if you can manage to kill your flying creature at the correctmoment. Rotate the map if you seem to not be getting the specificangle to fall through.

Get the god power of the flaming swords that raises your attack and keep typing in divine intervention to get heaps of the god power flaming swords then click on a unit and keep using the god power on the unit. That unit and all your other units will have a lot of strength in attack,

Enter Mount Olympus and get a few Niddhogs. Raid anenemy city and continuously use Meteor Power on large warriorarmies. Sometimes an enemy will be floating while kicking theirlegs. Get rid of them by building over them.

• This glitch will allow you to "freeze" any ranged building that usually shoots out arrows at an enemy unit without making it change its direction of attack. To do this, start a random-map game against a CPU player then send in at most five Ulfsarks or five villagers towards the enemy's Town Center. Allow only one villager or Ulfsark to get into the range of the Town Center. It should now be attacking the lone unit. Then, send in the other villagers to build a house far away from the Town Center's range, but close enough so that the Town Center can still lock onto it. There is a chance of the CPU's Town Center not attacking the builders as yet because it is still concentrating on the other single unit you had sent out before. By the time the Town Center finishes killing off that lone unit, it should start attacking the rest of your other units. However, you would have already finished building your house. If the Town Center attacks your builders, run away from its arrow attack range by staying behind the house. The Town Center is supposed to be attacking your house now. Send in the other villagers in front of your previously-built house then try to get near to the Town Center. You should notice that you will not be attacked. This is now the ideal time to build some temples, outposts, houses, and walls around the CPU's Town Center for an easy victory. This will block the CPU from using his newly-created units, and especially his "house/temple-building" villagers or Ulfsarks. Also, he should not be able to move them. Remember to kill and hunt down other builders and scouts. This glitch cannot be done to an actual human opponent because they can simply right-click on all your units to attack them simultaneously. Be aware that if you find that the AI is behaving itself properly by attacking multiple units at once, it was because you built your initial house too close to the Town Center. Note: Use this trick during multi-player games on the enemy's towers or fortresses, if your opponent seems to be forgetting to control his buildings' direction of attack.
  

• Note: The first part of this glitch described ranged buildings attacking at an enemy unit or enemy building. This part shows you how to avoid the dangers of accidentally trying to hurt a Town Center, tower or fortress. While you should not be normally attacked if you did the "Frozen aim of distraction" glitch, you will be if you decide to deliberately attack the enemy's Town Center itself. To avoid this, simple upgrade your Sentry Towers to Watch Towers then build it as far (but not too close) towards the range of the Town Center. Then, allow the Town Center to attack your Watch Tower. If the building which started the distraction was gone, the CPU will now make a random attempt to attack another closest or farthest enemy unit or building. Hope that it will be another far building instead. This works for any other ranged buildings like Fortresses, Hill Forts, etc. However, always aim for the one that has the better pierce armor. This will allow the distraction to go on for hours until your opponent tries to waste or destroy the building that had started the distraction process in the first place. This glitch is basically a more improved version over the other one, since attacking a ranged building with units will not affect them. The only difference is that the first one allows you to take advantage of this glitch when you are only in the Archaic Age, or when you want to do an early rush attack against a Titan CPU as stated above. Note: This glitch only applies in the Classical or later ages.
  

I find that until you get well into the Heroic Age, it's best to always be trainingsvillagers. It allows you to have more resources and you can buildfaster (this helps when trying to take down lots of settlements). Aplus is that they only take one population "point", so it doesn't hurtto have loads of them. Having more villagers menas more resources,which means more troops, which means you can expand and win, too. Also: Don't be the Norse!

At the start of the game, enable the O CANADA code. Send the laser bear to the enemy base. Your enemy will be busy trying to destroy the bear, giving you time to develop your base.

When you are an Egyptian, get the Son Of Osiris godpower and use it. When you use the power (you will gain anotherPharaoh afterwards), use the Divine Intervention god power andkeep using it. When you get about eleven or more, go to your enemyand attack with your Sons Of Osiris. When you attack you shouldstart floating, and your Sons Of Osiris will go through the wall.

As soon as you advance to the Heroic Age, build a market. Train the llamas or ox and send them to your town center. The longer the distance, the more gold they will carry.

Every one of the Greek gods have Haephaestus as one of their last demi-gods. You should always choose him as he is the very best demi-god in the game. He has Titans as his main creature, which are the most powerful, and his power- the vault of plenty gives a slow trickle of resources in you stash. It doesn't seem like much, but before you know it, you will have 16000 of each resource.

If you really want to annoy somebody while playingonline, type 999 and it will go on. It sounds just likethe theme music, but with things that sounds like chipmunks singing.

When playing a LAN or online game press enter and type 999 which does the theme music but with extra sounds like monkeys singing, ect. Very funny, but only if you are the one doing it.

Be the norse and get the flaming weapons god power. then do the "divine intervention" cheat about 12 times use them all on one unit really fast and there attack should be about 113. When all the timers go to 0 theattack still should be 113. ( when you save the game and Esc and enter it again there attack will be back to normal )

Whenever your opponent is constructing any building,wait for the blue or red hit point's health bar (HP) to be nearlycompleted. Then, try to destroy the building. Because the building'shealth is decreasing slowly, it will take more time for the builderto construct it. You will then notice later that the unit finisheddeveloping the building already, even when it was not 100% finishedas yet. The game thinks that the builder is "repairing"the building instead, because the time it takes for the building'sconstruction to be fully completed had been already elapsed byyou messing around with the construction process. Thus, it willbe created whether or not the foundation or structure is at fullhealth when the builder was constructing it. You can observe theamount of damage, smoke and fire (if any) that was left behindafter the builder did not complete the building fully. Also, trydoing this glitch to yourself instead of your enemies - it isstill the same concept. Note: If the enemy tries to attack yourbuilding while you are constructing, this is a big mistake forthem. They would want to kill the units constructing the actualbuilding instead.

On the level "All Is Not Lost" in the AOMcampaign you can kill Gargarensis and Skult before you talk tohim. First, enable the LAY OF THE LAND code. They are abouthalfway between your camp and Gargarensis' camp. Either enablethe PANDORAS BOX code until you get an earthquake or theWRATH OF THE GODS and get the Earthquake god power. Usethe earthquake god power on them and they will all die. Note:Once you get to the scene where they talk to you they will notappear. Thus you cannot continue the game after that point.

Press ENTER to open chat box in free map and then put on CAPS LOCK then type in AI MR MONDAY it really difficult after!

Go into multi-player mode via ESO. When you login,note the different kinds of maps you see each and every time youexit out and return to the same screen. The units you can movewill be a Nidhogg and a boat. Once you see the latter, use yourmouse to move the pointer towards any of the edges or sides ofthe screen. You cannot be in the middle or anywhere else. Draga box around the specific unit which you want to move. You willhear a sound because you have selected it. Right click onto adestination point that is not inside of the online gameplay windowthat was covering up the actual map (you can give the unit waypointsas well). Also, you can select any other building such as lighthouses,etc.

Use the following trick to build a gate that you canuse, but not your allies (to prevent them from using the resourcesaround you). First, build a Fortress, Migdol Stronghold, Hillfort,or any kind of Tower. Enclose your city with walls. Have the Fortressor Tower be a part of the walls. When you want a unit to get fromone side of the wall to another, have them garrison inside theFortress or Tower. Then, set the gather point to the oppositeside. When you eject the units, they will be on the other sideof the wall. Note: This does not work on units that will not garrisoninside buildings.

His god power is "Lure", which creates a stone that lures a certain number of animals before disappearing. Cavalry and Stables are cheaper with Poseidon and Militia appear at razed (destroyed) buildings. Also, your market trades cheaper.

Press enter when you are playing. Make sure you have caps lock on and then type in PANDORAS BOX. (no period) You will have 4 new random god powers. You can keep tying the cheat in and it will give you more powers.

If your Son of Osiris targets an enemy and there areanimals nearby, his chain lightning attack might strike the animals.It kills the weaker animals in a single shot, which is quite funnyto watch.

In the Scenario Editor, make a few heroes that werefrom the "The Fall Of The Trident" campaign and a Roc.Let the land surrounding your units get filled with water. Placethe hero into the Roc and move it away from the little land thatwas left behind (because you do not want them to disappear). Finally,get rid of the leftover land that they were on before. After doingthat, kill the Roc that your hero was in by pressing [Delete]or by creating water over the Roc selection circle. Your unitshould end up in water. If your unit dies instead, you have tocreate the unit all over again on land then do it correctly thenext time by placing it in the middle of the ocean by using theRoc. However if your hero ends up on land, place it back intothe Roc again and create water over the part where he or she normallyteleports to. Relocate the Roc and try pressing [Delete]once more. Note: This also applies for Transport Ships.

To view your achievement progress and stats, open the Steam client, select "Community", then search for the game hub for "Age Of Mythology (PC)". Click the "View Stats" option in the drop down list, then select the option that displays the achievements for your account.

Go to the Tutorial. As soon as you click on "Tutorial",repeatedly and rapidly tap [Esc] when the game loads. Youshould see a body of water before the short introduction begins.It looks as if it had come from the creating of the introductorymap, or probably from the first scenario where you have to slaythe Cyclops. This glitch also occurs during the short prologuebetween where Arkantos and Athena were fighting an Anubite mythologicalcreature in "The Fall Of The Trident" campaign. Note:The LAY OF THE LAND code may be useful. Also, occasionallywhen you press [Alt] + [Tab] to switch out of thegame, you can see a map of Hades' realm (Erebus) just before themain menu screen.

In any mission or random map game, enable the PANDORAS BOX code until you get the Flaming Weapons God power. Enable the DIVINE INTERVENTION code as many times as desired. Then, use all of your Flaming Weapons on any unit, all in rapid succession. It will bolster all of your units' attack. When the time runs out for the Flaming Weapons, the high attack value will

remain and will not wear off. Note: This requires the latest patch for the game.

During game play press enter and write the following(caps lock must be on):

WRATH OF THE GODS--Tornado, Meteors, Lighting storm and Earthquake.

First, make sure that you are worship Isis, then when advancing into the Mythic age, worship Osiris, then research New Kingdom at the temple, usethe "divine intervention" cheat on the Son Of Osiris god power and use it on both of your pharaohs. Then, wait about a minute, and you will get another pharaoh. Use the Son of Osiris god power on it, and repeat the process as many times as you like! (Don't forget to keep using the "divine intervention" cheat for the Son of Osiris god power.)

To start, you must be worshipping the major EgyptianGod Isis or Ra. Then, advance to the Mythic Age and worship Osiris.Ignore the fact that the mummies that you can make are useless.Then, select either the Temple or Town Center and choose to researchthe technology. The description is the Osiris issues another Pharaohto govern your people. After that. Enable the DIVINE INTERVENTIONcode. Do this as many times as desired. Each time it is enabled,you can use each of your God Powers one more time. Then, use theSon of Osiris God Power on both of your Pharaohs to have two Sonsof Osiris. About every three to five minutes, another Pharaohwill appear near your Town Center, which you will then use theGod Power on.
