This can be accomplished at the beginning of the game, when you receive the "Bambam Club" mission. Once there, you will fight some punks. Grab one of them and smash him into one of the aquariums in the walls. The water will start gushing and a fish will appear. Pick up the fish from the ground and kill someone with it. To ensure that you succeed, aim for a target, hit him a few times with normal attacks to weaken him, then use the fish to finish him off. The killing blow must e with the fish. If this is not done, the fish may be destroyed before you have a chance to kill someone with it.

After reaching Face level 10 you will be granted a DAI LO 40% discount when you purchase cars and clothes. There are also clothes that grant about a 15% bounce discount for vehicles but they may not stack with the Face level 10 discount. There are four vehicle stores you need to purchase from, two in North Point, one in Kennedy Town, and one in Central. About $3.5 million total will be required for the purchases. To earn large sums money, call Tran for missions. He will ask you to get him cars, with some of them worth over $500,000.

• Part of the requirement for earning "Cursed Gold" requires killing twenty Yaoguai, with fifteen of those using a Peachwood sword. Ideally, you will be able to carry a sword with you at all times, dropping it to fight until you need it. There is one mission where you pass a checkpoint and face a Yaoguai. Use this location to farm the kills. Kill the Yaoguai, reload from the checkpoint and repeat the process. This also can be done after the campaign has been completed by using a different saved game slot. Your previous kill progress will still qualify on your next play through.
• Use the following steps if you have completed the storyline but not all the secondary content. You can farm kills with blue and purple portals, and particularly the Gold Award for killing fifteen Yaoguai with a Peachwood sword: Blue portals are Jiang Shi and Peachwood sword spawns. Purple portals are Yaoguai spawns. Go to a blue portal and throw several Jiang Shi into it. This will close the portal and spawn a Peachwood sword. Collect the sword, however do not kill the remaining Jiang Shi. Move away from the closed portal. After reaching a far enough distance, the portal will reopen, allowing you to return later to get more swords. If you kill all the remaining Jiang Shi after the portal has closed, it will remain closed permanently, and you will have to reload a previous saved game. After getting the Peachwood sword, go to a purple portal. Kill the Yaoguai with the sword, however keep all of the Jiang Shi alive. After the Yaoguai is dead, throw away the sword since it will be too fragile for use in another fight. Retreat to reset the portal and spawn a new Yaoguai when you return later. Travel between the two portals, getting new swords and killing the respawned Yaoguai. Note: To get a lot of Jiang Shi kills, repeatedly kill them near the blue portals, but do not throw them in. This will allow them to continously respawn. This can also be done at purple portals as long as the Yaoguai remains alive. To get a lot bite attempts, grab a Jiang Shi and walk around with it for awhile. I will eventually break the hold and attempt to bite you.

Save the game, then bet at least 50,000 on any cockfight and win. If you lose, reload the game and try again. The best place to try this is Kennedy Town, as it features a minimum bet of 50,000 and is the fastest cockfighting arena to reach from your apartment.

Karaoke songs are unlocked as you progress and finish the dates by calling the girls on your phone. The last long is unlocked after completing the "Real Men Do Not Karaoke" favor mission in the K-bar (central city) for a man named "Jack". Scoring 90% in the songs is easy if you concentrate.

Drive around until you find an armored truck. An orange arrow will appear above it. Perform a hijack action and a map marker will point toward the nearest garage. Drive it into the garage. Repeat the process as many times as needed.

This requires progress in the storyline. You can find these stats by opening up your mobile phone, going to the "Social" hub, then selecting "Stat Awards". Some of the tasks may require level 10 cop, level 10 triad, and having all melee fighting available.

• Big Spender: Purchase cars and clothes.
• Bonebreaker: These moves are taught by obtaining jade statues. You can break an arm or leg. Grab an enemy then use the specific hold to break either the arm or leg.
• Completionist: Complete storyline, cases, collectibles, events, races, and everything else possible. After completing all events and earnig "Mr. Nice Guy", there will still be a few random events throughout the map. Look up the random events map to find them.
• Deadeye: This is easily done on pedestrians. Find a parked car, take the tire iron from its trunk, then throw it at a pedestrian.
• Defence: Counter attacks obtained during the storyline.
• Disarming: To disarm enemy, sprint into them and grab them to take their weapon.
• Enforcer: Obtained during the storyline.
• Environmentalist: Environmental kills that are earned during the storyline.
• Explorer: Collect all the Shirens, lockboxes, etc. Every time you have an opportunity to have a date with a girl, do so. After completing the date, the location of collectibles on the map will be revealed.
• Fast Talker: Some missions have an option that allows you to talk your way out. Replay any mission with the "Fast Talk" option, such as "Club Bam Bam".
• Firestarter: Start "The Funeral" mission and progress to where you get a grenade launcher. There is a gunfight and a lot of cars outside the cemetery. Shoot the cars with the grenade to get some explosive kills.
• Fluid Striker: Use a sports car, such as Blast, because they are easier to slide over. Drive to a group of enemies, park the car next to them, then repeatedly jump or slide over the car while sliding kicking enemies.
• Gambler: This can be done on the boats with mahjong or betting on cockfighting.
• Gunman: Firearms kills that will be obtained during the storyline.
• Handyman: Disarm or kill a thug armed with a knife, crowbar, or any other melee weapon. Take their weapon. Pedestrians sometimes carry a purse, briefcase, or umbrella that are considered melee weapons. You can also find tire irons in the trunks of parked cars.
• Headhunter: Get headshots with normal pistols or the grenade launcher machine gun.
• Hijacker: During storyline, you will learn to perform the action "Hijack", which involves jumping on another car and taking over it. You can do this on the KNOX trucks.
• Lucky Shooter: Start "The Election" mission. Progress until you will disarm a man with a shotgun. Afterwards, you will run downstairs into a huge gunfight. Hide behind cover and blind fire the shotgun.
• Martial Artist: Obtained during the storyline.
• Mogul: If not obtained during the storyline, steal cars for Tran.
• Ninja: This can be done on pedestrians. Walk behind someone and press [Grab] twice to instantly kill them.
• Overall: Have gold awards at different stats.
• Public Enemy: Obtained during the storyline.
• Racer: Win races. .
• Reckless Driver: Drive fast and safely on the highway. It is long and allows you to easily dodge cars.
• Rogue Cop: Shoot the police.
• Safe Driver: Take a very slow vehicle such as a truck or bus on the highway along the parts of the island.
• Sniper: Make every shot count using any firearm that you can be accurate with. You have to hit the target and not necessarily kill it.
• Survivor: Get a weapon from a police car's trunk or find one. If you have completed the game you should have a Golden Desert Eagle. Start a rampage, shoot a few cops, drive around, shoot their tires, etc.
• Wrecker: During "The Funeral" mission, use the grenade launcher to shoot all the cars outside the cemetery. Then, reload from the checkpoint and repeat the process as many times as needed.

• Open the "Social" hub, then scroll through the mission list and choose the one where you scored the lowest. Try to get a better score. Wear the 15% bonus experience for triad outfit to boost your progress. You can score large amounts of triad points if you chain headshots, pop tires, etc.
• After completing the storyline and getting enough face level, run around clothes shop to get clothing that will give you +15% Triad experience. You can find these at clothes shops in Central. The shoes are only at the shop southeast of the Government House area in Central. Once you have the entire set, open your mobile phone, go to the "Social" hub, and replay the missions where you do not have all three red triangles.

You must kill enemies or innocent civilians with the weapons for them to count. The following items can be used as melee weapons.

Baton: Obtained from the police.

Kitchen knife: Obtained from gangsters.

Cleaver: Obtained from gangsters.

Wok: Obtained from food stalls by the street.

Handbag: Taken from innocent ladies.

Briefcase: Taken from innocent white collar workers.

Purse or clutche: Taken from innocent ladies.

Shopping bag: Taken from innocent ladies.

Tire iron: Found in car trunks.

Umbrella: Taken from innocent civilians while it rains.

Fish: During the "Bambam Club" mission, smash the aquarium, pick up a fish, and kill some thugs.
