Try to get three stars on every level. As well as being more challenging and fun, it also means you do not have to wait for star gates to unlock.

Remember that deliberately bouncing Pac-Man into walls is a good way of reversing him, effectively turning a left pad into a right one.

The directionality and hit boxes of stars and keys are fairly forgiving, so you do not have to be exact.
