Alternate ending

Complete the game with all nine Life Upgrades.

Glitch: Die from falling while on ground

Go to the Garden (Present). Make your way to location of the Dahaka chase #3 intermission sequence, when he annihilates Ravenman and he throws the Prince against the wall. Go to the same exact platform where Dahaka threw the Prince at during chase #3. From this platform you had to do a wall run to grab the ladder at your left. Once you are on that same platform, hang down from it. Try to jump to the platform with the pole sticking out (parallel to the ladder). Once you jump towards it, notice that the platform will become invisible and that you will land on the ground. Try to walk around the environment. As soon as you try to take a step, you will instantly die as if you fell from a platform.

Glitch: Different intermission sequence event

At the start of the game after the first Dahaka chase, the Prince rolls under a hole in the wall to get away. Go to the present and find the same area. Get to that area and you should see the original intermission sequence. The Prince will roll away just before the Dahaka gets him.

Glitch: Play as Sandwraith

When you reach the portal room for the second time, when you have to switch the time to the present for the first time, the Prince will say that something is wrong. You must run the switches on the wall to make the portal work correctly. Do not run the switches on the wall. Instead, enter the portal as it is and you will switch the time to the present. Save the game, then exit and load the game. You will now be playing as the maggot man. In this mode you will constantly lose life and much more health when hit than in normal mode. However your attacks will be very powerful and you are much more quicker. Note: Save the game on a different file if you wish to continue the game as the Prince.

Do the same thing as instructed above, but do not exit the game. Instead, continue playing until you die, or just jump into a pit. Either way, you must die a few times for this to work. Eventually when you retry and come back to life, the prince's body will become completely invisible except for his swords and his head. Note: You only have one chance to play the game in this form; if you die again and retry you will come back as the sandwraith and will not be able to do it again unless you start a new game.
Wes.

Glitch: Spikes up

After you defeat the girl in black for the last time, go to the first upgrade pedestal. After you get the upgrade, roll off the first edge on the way out, then rewind time. Some of the spikes should come up.

Hidden Bonus (indestructible) Weapons

At certain points throughout the game you will find Weapon Racks containing "unique" weapons. These weapons are indicated in the Secondary Weapon Display with a question mark icon and are indestructible, unlike other secondary weapons. There are five of these weapons in all. For all but the Giant Hand, you will need the Scorpion Sword. The Garden Flamingo and Teddy Bear MUST be completed before you find the Mask, and require you to backtrack along the path you would take when trying to complete the towers in which they are located. The Teddy Bear also requires you to break a wall during the Dahaka chase zone in that area. The Giant Hand and Glowing Sword, you get one chance only to find them.

Unlockable
How to Unlock
Garden Flamingo
Hanging Garden (present) - Behind a wall in the first alcove you reach if you were trying to reach the giant ladder in the past.
Giant Hand (little damage, instant knock down)
During the escape from the Tomb, find it in a small alcove to your left during the second (or third) Dahaka chase (depending on how you play).
Glowing Sword (Very high stats, also damages Prince)
Behind a wall in a pit immediately after the room covered in Fog.
Hockey Stick
Central Hall (past), rotate the switch towards the Hourglass Room. Use the new path to reach a breakable wall at the bottom of the room.
Teddy Bear (little damage, heals the Prince with each hit)
Mechanical Pit (present), in the area where you fought the second Brute, take the stairs up and look for a breakable wall in the water-filled pit.

Hint: Defeating enemies quickly

When on a cliff or platform with areas to fall off and enemies start attacking in groups, just throw them off instead of wasting Sand Tanks or fighting them all head on. This saves time, especially when you reach The Cliff as the Sandwraith.

Use the following trick to easily defeat any of the large enemies that require you to jump on their backs and get hits. Use Slow (tap L) when you are climbing up its back. Once you get up there, start hitting it as much as possible. Eventually, before time runs out or it has the chance to throw you off its back, you will be able to stab it in the neck and it will fall. By doing this, you will only use one Sand Tank and it will be refilled by its death. Note: Do not use any other Sand Tanks prior to jumping on its back, or else you will waste them and not get them back too quickly. Note: You may have to use two Sand Tanks while on its back if it is used too early.
caleb hall.

Hint: Defeating ladies in red

A good strategy when going up against a group or one of the ladies in red, near the beginning of the game is as follows. Always go into the fight with two weapons, but do not use the second one. Get all of them to go a sandy color then throw your second weapon at them. This will instantly kill them. They will drop weapons. You can pick them up and throw them at the ladies. Also, do not guard. Constantly attack instead. If you see one jumping, attack her immediately. If they get you to the floor and there is a group of them they can kill you instantly.

Hint: Defeating Shadi

This is an easy but precise way to defeat Shadi. Attack her until you hear a large "clank", which indicates that she has blocked. Then, roll to the side of her. When this is done, most of the time you will be able to get behind her and repeat the attack. You should get to hit her about four times (and possibly up to six times) before she blocks. However, sometimes you may only hit her about two times before she blocks. You must listen for the "clank".

Hint: Defeating the Crow mini-Boss

Use the following trick to defeat the mini-Boss that is formed from the evil crow enemies encountered in the beginning of the game after the ship level. Jump over him and slash him in the air repeatedly. By doing this, he cannot hit you. You must wait a few seconds between attacks. Also, in the last two stages, you will be on platforms; be careful that you do not fall off.
