A bug in Forza prevents players from being awarded with the prize car if they do not place 1st in the LAST RACE in the championship.
To be sure to always get the prize car, keep retrying the last race until you get 1st. If you do this and have the most championship points, the car will be awarded.
Say you just bought a car off of some person on Xbox Live and you don't have it unlocked. To copy a car, you must have at least 2 profiles. Let's say the profile with the car you wish to copy is named profile A. Your secondary is named Profile B. Load up Profile B, go to Garage and select Profile to Profile. Then click on the name of the profile that owns the car you wish to copy. Find the car, and buy it from the profile, it will stay in the profile you bought it from and you will also have it in your secondary profile. Now that you have done that, you can load up Profile A and buy that car. Now you will have 2 of that car, and you can continue buying it.
Buy the VW Jetta VR6. Buy every engine upgrade and the other engine. Equip your stock engine, then sell the other engine that was just bought. You will spend 1,500 credits, but gain 45,000 credits. Then, buy the other engine, equip your stock engine, and sell the other engine that was just bought to repeat this as many times as desired.
Buy a Volkswagen Jetta, then install all motor upgrades. After you install the engine, reinstall the original motor. Then, go to the second motor that you purchased for 2500 credits. Press X and sell the second motor for ten times the original price. Keep repeating this as many times as desired.
Buy the Z06 Chevrolet Corvette. Do the same procedure like the VW Jetta glitch. Buy all the engine upgrades. Then, buy the actual engine upgrade and go back to the stock engine and equip it. Then. sell the engine. Unlike the VW Jetta glitch, you must spend 32,000 credits but will get back 101,880 credits. This is faster and less time consuming than the VW Jetta glitch.

Get a Corvette Z05 (A2 class) and buy every part for it. Then, go to "swap engines from another car". There should be one engine to buy for 32,000 credits. Buy and install it. It should now be a S4 class. Then, go back to your stock engine and install it. Go to your second engine and sell it. It should sell for about 100,000 credits.

On Xbox Live, make sure you have someone in a room that is open or a race/buy-sell room you can join from your friends list. Get in the cheapest car you have. Sell every car back to the game while you are in your garage, but do not press B to back out. Otherwise, you will save it and lose the cars that you sold. While in the room and left with the car you are in, join someone's room. Then, back out all the way to select a profile. Notice that the profile will have all the money you made from selling, and the cars will still be in your garage. You can do this an unlimited number of times.

Select "Go Race", then choose "Online Race". Pick a class for the car that you have, then create your own match. You will need one or two friends online to help, but you will all will earn big cash. When setting up the race choose the last track (Test Track Oval), and set it for 1 lap. When you have created the lobby, have a friend join you. You will need to leave the Lobby, giving the match to your friend. Rejoin your friend. Then, your friend may leave to give control back to you. This is done because when you first create the room you can only set the lap mark at 25. You can now change it to 75. Before you start the race (or Host) make sure it is on 1 lap. Start, and once the race begins, have the host leave before the race has ended by pressing Start and selecting "Quit". Once the host leaves, the game will put you (the host) in the lobby. Change the race settings to 75 laps before someone crosses the finish line. This will make the race worth more money, depending on how many people you have in the race. For one player it is $0, two players $75,000, and eight players-$500,000. Before doing the trick again, change the laps back to 1. Also, the higher the class, the faster the race will go, allowing you to fit more in an hour. However, the higher the class does not mean more money. It is the same for each track regardless.
