Getting items

When in any area, check dumpsters and look behind small boxes or items for multitools, food, guns, ammo, etc.

Glitch: Get on the outside of the Arcology in Cairo

The Bot Domination Biomod (at least level 2) is required for this trick. While in the 107-108 area of the Arcology in Cairo, go into the SSC guard area. Dominate the camera, and while the timer counts down, run outside of the room and duck under the slope of the window. Once you dominate the camera, press B. You should be standing on the outside of the Arcology

Glitch: Invisible duplicate object

Have the Energy Sword strike an object and at the same time pick it up by pressing A. If done correctly, you will have a invisible object in your hands while the visible object is still on the ground.

Glitch: Leave level boundary

When you start the church mission, there will be a Aero Security bot behind some big crates. Get rid of him, or better yet, control him to get rid of some humans. Then, move forward and for now ignore the broken church window. Go forward and climb up on the big crate using the hold Y climb. Do a running jump to the close roof and hold Y again to climb up. This is not meant to be done, but it is possible. When up there, go the other side of the roof and stop. You are now outside the entire level. Part of the screen will slowly turn white, depending where you are looking. To exit this, go to the other side of the roof and back into the level. You can now progress as normal.

Use the following trick to get out of level boundary in the Cairo Green house. Enter the green house and take care of whatever is in your way. There will be a Aero Security bot, which is quite a tough opponent at this stage. When you get to the intersection early on, go left. Then, do not go up the stairs. Instead, get a explosive crate and throw it to the door near you on the same level. Shoot the crate to destroy the door, or simply throw a concussion grenade at it. Go in. Note: If it is still not open, do what you did before again. Instead of destroying the "generator", go on the small hill. preferably the one which is easier to climb. Jump on the pipe above without a plank on it using the climbing ability (hold Y) then jump onto the one with the plank, as it is now reachable. Repeat this pattern until you get to the wall which has the door in it which you came through. You should be very near the top. Jump across the wall. Be careful, as you will land on apparently the same pipe you jumped from, just on the other half of it (which you are not meant to know about). If you jump off, you will fall and die, even if you have level 3 Silent Moving which makes falling less damaging. You will be able to see the entire level from here, which gives you a very nice advantage if you do not have the Seeing Eye biomod.

Glitch: Toxic Bath kill

On the mission when you have to rescue Her Holiness and that other person from the Black Ruins Lab, play the level normally. You should see an Illuminati person appear and tell you to leave. Do as he says and take the elevator back up to the Ruins. Then, ride the elevator back into the lab and return to the same room. There should be no one there. Shut the door and go to the computer. Then click the "Activate Toxic Bath" (or something similar) option and listen. You should hear them both screaming. You will then get a call from someone saying that you killed them.

Have bot powers

Note: Save the game before doing this. Get the Bot Domination Biomod. It helps to upgrade it to level 3. Next, find a bot and attempt to dominate it. Find a door or entrance that leads into another zone via a loading screen. Let the timer count down and time your exit just as you are going into the bot's peripheral vision. The screen should stay white upon your exit. If you did not time it correctly, you will be booted to the Xbox menu. Now when you are in the area you exited to, all of your inventory items will be gone, but you will have the bot's weapon. Note: The Spiderbot's weapon is null and will not do any damage.

Hellfire Boltcaster

This is a boltcaster that makes enemies burst into flames instead of being knocked out. Its inside the Nassif greenhouse and is slightly difficult to get. Go through the warehouse and into the office, then make a left in the hall (away from hydroponics control). Then, save the game when you get to the balcony save (so you do not have to run all the way around). Carefully jump to the beams sticking out on the other side of the rail. Then, jump to the ledge to your right. It is small, but you can stand on it. Use the outcropping window as a foothold to jump up onto the balcony above you, then go through the vent shaft. In this room you will find the weapon in the corner amidst some junk.

There is a hidden Boltcaster in the Tarsus Academy in Seattle. Go to your room and Billie will tell you to look up at the ceiling. It will disappear. Then, jump and climb up onto the ledge above the counter. Jump to the other side and you will find a Boltcaster.

Hint: Antarctica: Alien

After you destroy the military bot, go into the encampment. You will find a trapped alien. Let him out by using a Multitool and tell him to guard. Do not let the Greasel out or he will attack you.

Hint: Assassinate Mag Rail Scientist and get weapon

You may want to have quite a bit of ammunition for this, as the scientist is remarkably difficult to kill. The fastest melee way is to club him down, then finish with knife. When traveling down corridor to lab entrance before or after talking to the gun tech, get one of the boxes in the hall. Do not to threaten him and he will unlock the control lock. However, before you press the button (but after he enters the room), place the box in the way of the door so that it cannot close. Press the "Containment Release" button, but do not take the rifle yet. First, take care of the security bot, either by way of neural interfacing the panel on the wall or EMP grenade, then the guard. Carefully crouch and mount the box. Walk up the stairs, making sure not to move the box out of the door's path, as you will not be able to get out. Once at the control room, attack the scientist, and be praised by the order. Next, clear the same treacherous doorway to claim your prize from the WTO. By doing this, you will be reprimanded by Chen, but you will still be able to claim your rewards from both factions: A Legal Biomod can from Billie in the order Mosque in Cairo, and an additional helpful item from Sparks upon reaching her in the Tarsus school above in Arcology.

Note: After you lift the mag rail containment chamber after placing the box in the way of the door, when you enter to kill the scientist instead of trying to kill him. throw a gas grenade. This causes him to run out and deactivate the door. Therefore, whether or not you get locked in, you can get out without worrying about the door. He then runs out and cowers in the nearest corner of the lab. Kill him, get praised by the Order, and take the mag rail.

Hint: Beating most security systems

This trick involves a Baton and the Black Market "EMP Burst" biomod. Strength also does not hurt, but try not to max it out. Thermal Masking is a definite bonus. Cameras and turrets can be disabled by pummeling them with the EMP enhancement doubled with the Baton, thus disabling it without the risk of destroying it (and taking damage and alerting guards with the noise). Also, lasers can be disabled without the use of multi-tools by striking the small diamond on the wall from which each beam emanates. Gas (green) lasers do not hurt you, but release gas in the surrounding area. However, by destroying the "Gas Release Panels" that can be found nearby with grenades or other explosions, you disable the danger altogether. Further manipulation is possible with the "Neural Interface" biomod.
