Cheat Codes/Hints

Easy difficulty

Play against the same CPU character and give up three times consecutively.

Panda costume

Defeat Colin at World Television Studio, then talk to Producer Bando again. Play and win a match against him. You will get the Panda costume as a gift from the Fans.

SP costumes and accessories

Defeat the CPU under the God difficulty setting in Exhibition mode. Note: The SP items must be unlocked individually for each character.

Special characters

Complete the indicated task to unlock the corresponding character.

  • Gloria: Win all 75 storyline matches to get the invitation to the Love Tennis HQ. After you defeat Zeta (Gloria), you defeat all Story mode characters in each stage (75 matches). Gloria will call your character and challenge you in a match at the Love Tennis Club HQ in the last room. Defeat Gloria to unlock her.
  • Helghast: Note: North American and European versions only. After Colin joins in Story mode, go back to the stage room and defeat him. He can also be used as an Umpire.
  • Zeta (Norma): After the first ending in Story mode, go to the volcano site. Defeat every player until the final door. Play as Emi to enter, then defeat Norma.
  • Suzuki: After Schneider joined the party in Story mode, return to his stage. Talk to Suzuki. Defeat him after he challenges you.
  • Yakkun: Note: Japanese version only. After Brad joined the party in Story mode, return to his stage. and talk to Yakkun. Defeat him after he challenges you.

Unlock Easy Mode

Play against the same computer player and give up three times in a row. There will be a message saying that easy mode has been unlock. You can choose to activate or deactivate it in the options menu.

Unlock God Difficulty Level

In exhibtion mode, beat the CPU at hard difficulty level a few times (the number is randomly set between 1 and 10).God Difficulty Level must be unlocked one by one for each character, in singles and doubles.

Unlock Special Characters

Unlocking these characters requires coming back to a character's stage in Story Mode, once he or her joined the party, then talking to specific people. Certain characters can only be unlocked in certain versions of the game.

Helghast (US & EU Only)
In story mode, once Colin joined the party, go back to the stageroom and beat him. (He can also be used as an Umpire)
Suzuki ( Playable and Umpire )
In story mode, play Johnathan, then play against Suzuki and beat him. He can be acquired before playing Sam.
Unlock Gloria (JP)
In story mode, after the second ending, go back to the volcano site and select to play as Suzuki before you enter the last room. Gloria will be inside
Unlock Norma (JP)
In story mode, after the first ending, go to the volcano site and beat every player until the final door. Play as Emi to enter, then beat Norma.
Unlock Suzuki (JP)
In story mode, once Schneider joined the party, come back to his stage then talk to Suzuki. He will challenge you, so beat him to unlock him.
Unlock Yakkun (JP)
In story mode, once Brad joined the party, come back to his stage and talk to Yakkun. He will challenge you, so beat him to unlock him.

Unlock Special courts

Unlocking these courts requires coming back to a character's stage and playing with him or her.

Unlock Backstreet Court
In story mode, once Wendy joined the party, come back to her stage and talk to the bad guys near the athletic field. Beat them to unlock it.
Unlock Lake Garden Court
In story mode, once Rosetta joined the party, come back to her stage and talk to the driver of the limousine. Beat him to unlock it.
Unlock Theme Park Court
In story mode, once Tiger joined the party, come back to his stage and talk to the little girl near the entrance. Beat her to unlock it.
