After you beat the final boss and get past the final cut-scene and credits, you are given the option to make an endgame save. If you load this savegame, you start a new game, but you get to have all the sword scrolls, equipment and inventory items that you had from your previous game.

When you go to Byakko for the first time, you should notice a gate with a few treasure chests and explosive barrels inside. To open this gate, you must go to the front gate to the inside of Byakko, then, find someone talking about that gate and the treasure inside. Go back down and see that the gate is open.

To unlock the Pure San'yuan bugei you must beat the game and save your game after the credits. Once you continue that file you will start over with all of the items you had in your previous game and have the Pure San'yuan kenpu in the Bugei Scrolls section.

At the title screen, go to download and when you get connected, enter these codes to get certain items. Note: Entering these codes are the only ways to get these items

After each fight you can swing your sword repeatedly when there are no enemies. This works similar to the Chi Hack, but also allows you to make the last intermission sequence of Xui Yu where she destroys the last Kirin Chi Gate invisible if you have already have completed the game and have the Kirin Chi.

Charge your Chi up (floating) in some areas like the cliff leading out of Suzaku. You will be trapped and nothing you do will get you out, other than restarting the entire game.
