3D Dot Game Heroes

Required: Wire Rod, Flame Wand.

In the southwest corner of the map you'll find the graveyard. Examine your minimap and you'll see that one of the graves is not marked by a dot. The grave in question is one over (west) and three up (north) from the southeast corner of the graveyard. You can push this gravestone upwards to reveal a passage leading down. Talk to the Hero's ghost in the grave to receive the awesome Hero's Sword.

On the way to the second dungeon you must go through a maze in the woods to reach the entrance of the dungeon. The path is Forward, Right, Up, Left, Left, Down, Left, Up, Up.

Successfully complete the game. Start another game session to begin with your previously earned money, sword upgrades, and bestiary.

Collect Small Blocks from chests and White or Silver Slimes. Then, travel east from the castle and cross the river. Move north and use the Wire Rod to cross the river back to the west to find a small cave. Go inside and speak to the NPC on the throne to exchange the indicated number of Small Blocks for the corresponding sword.

Gorgon Sword : 5 Small Blocks.
Luck Sword : 8 Small Blocks.
Star Sword : 10 Small Blocks.
Mage Sword : 12 Small Blocks.
Katana : 15 Small Blocks.
Orihalcon : 18 Small Blocks.
Excalibur : 20 Small Blocks.

Enter your name as SPELUNKER to play Spelunker Mode. In Spelunker Mode you'll die if you get hit once. There are a few dialogue changes as well.

Another way to activate Spelunker Mode is to start a game in From mode. A Spelunker is trapped behind a bush in the northwest corner of the map. Free him with the Flame Wand and talk to him and you'll be able to choose Spelunker Mode from the main menu.

Start a New Game, select a character and when it asks for you to enter your name input SPELUNKER. This will put the game in Spelunker Mode. In addition to dying in one hit (like the famous Spelunker game character) you will get some very funny and belittling dialogue changes as well as the famous Spelunker death noise when ever you die.

While playing a game in From mode, you can run into Spelunker who is trapped in the area that can be found in the upper left corner of the map. To free him, you need to use the flame wand on the stump to the right of him. Doing so will free him and allow you to select Spelunker mode when starting either a new game or a new game +.

Start a new game and enter SPELUNKER as a name. This mode has alternate dialogue, death with one hit, and the death sound from the original Spelunker.

Complete the following tasks to unlock PlayStation3 trophy rewards. Enabling cheat codes and passwords will not block trophies from becoming unlocked.

Around the World! (Silver): Visited all maps.

Bestiary Complete! (Gold): Booked all monsters in the Bestiary.

All Swords Obtained! (Gold): Acquired all the swords.

Congratulations! (Platinum): Congratulations! Thank you for playing this far!

Additionally there are thirty four secret trophies.

Bested Eelagon! (Bronze): Defeated Eelagon without taking damage.

Bested Queen Bee! (Bronze): Defeated Queen Bee without taking damage.

Bested Giga Golem! (Bronze): Defeated Giga Golem without taking damage.

Bested Kraken! (Bronze): Defeated Kraken without taking damage.

Bested Dragon! (Bronze): Defeated Dragon without taking damage.

Bested Dark Knight! (Bronze): Defeated Dark Knight without taking damage.

Bested Fuelle! (Bronze): Defeated Fuelle without taking damage.

Bested Onyx! (Bronze): Defeated Onyx without taking damage.

Found Sue! (Bronze): You found Sue.

Found Ai! (Bronze): You found Ai.
