Successfully complete Legend mode as Kenshiro.
The harder the difficulty that you play the game on (Easy, Normal, Hard), the more Karma Points (Orbs) you will get from enemies.
You can either start a new game or continue from where you left off. Press Start and choose a storyline of your selected Hero. If it is a new game, you must start with Kenshiro. If you continue and have your other characters unlocked, then you can use them the same way. A good way to save your Meridian Skills is to complete Chapter 1 and repeat it as many times as desired to collect a large enough amount of skills. Chapter 3 is a very good stage to collect Meridian Skills, as it will reward you at least 130 skills. Note: The enemies in the later chapters are very difficult to fight. The best thing to do is to work on your Attack skills, Life Gauge skills, and Defense skills in order to win. Repeat the easiest stages as many times as desired until you have the needed Meridian Skills, then enable as many Meridian Chart skills as you can.
