Always Avoid Boss Attacks
Each boss in the game has a special move or two that will really cramp your style. As soon as the boss is about to use this move (listen for audio cues) press the UNDO button and you will cancel the attack, or at least delay it a bit. This makes boss fight much easier.
Babel mode levels
Earn the indicated number of Gold Prizes from the Golden Playhouse under the Normal or higher difficulty setting to unlock the corresponding level in Babel mode.
- Altar: One Gold Prize.
- Axismundi: Nine Gold Prizes.
- Menhir: Three Gold Prizes.
- Obelisk: Five Gold Prizes.
Babel mode stages
The Babel mode lets you take on randomized stages either by yourself or with a friend. You can only unlock these stages by earn Gold Prizes in the Golden Playhouse.

Colosseum Mode
Beat the game once.
Easy mode
At the title screen where you have the option of game modes, highlight Golden Playhouse and hold select until the screen flashes white. You must do this every time you start or load your game to have an effect.
How to view all eight endings
Catherine has eight different endings, and which one you get depends on where your Karma meter is by stage nine and your responses to the final four questions asked during that stage. The first of the four questions is inconsequential, but the others determine the ending.

How to Unlock
Bad Cheater's Ending
Answer "Yes" to Question 2, "Yes" to Question 3, and "Chaotic Excitement" to Question 4. Your Karma meter needs to be in the blue.
Bad Lovers' Ending
Answer "Yes" to Question 2, "Yes" to Question 3, and "Peaceful Days" to Question 4. Your Karma meter needs to be in the red.
Good Cheater's Ending
Answer "Yes" to Question 2, "Yes" to Question 3, and "Chaotic Excitement" to Question 4. Your Karma meter needs to be in the red.
Good Freedom Ending
Answer "No" to Question 2, "No" to Question 3, and "Yes" to Question 4. Your Karma meter needs to be in either the red or blue.
Good Lovers' Ending
Answer "Yes" to Question 2, "Yes" to Question 3, and "I'm Ready" to Question 4. Your Karma meter needs to be in the blue.
True Cheater's Ending
Answer "No" to Question 2, "Yes" to Question 3, and "Yes" to Question 4. Your Karma meter needs to be in the red.
True Freedom Ending
Answer "No" to Question 2, "No" to Question 3, and "Yes" to Question 4. Your Karma meter needs to be neutral.
True Lovers' Ending
Answer "Yes" to Question 2, "No" to Question 3, and "I'm Ready" to Question 4. Your Karma meter needs to be in the blue.
Increase your speed with booze
In the bar before each puzzle sequence, be sure to drink three drinks. Each drink increases your speed in puzzles! A maximum speed can be achieved with three drinks.

How to unlock
Level 4-1: 99 retries
When you start, notice the retry pillow. Get the pillow and immediately press Start and retry the level. Repeat this until you reach 99 retries.
New Rapunzel levels
Press Up, Down(2), Up(3), Down(4), Right at the Rapunzel arcade games title screen. The colors will change to confirm correct code entry. Repeat the code to disable its effect.
