Percy will try to stop you. if you try to go during the day, Fred and George will not be there, except on the last day of school. When you go in, you have to go to the opposite side of the table. There will be a book. Go up to it and Fred will say that it is 80 Bertie Botts. If you have enough, he will say you can go mostly anywhere in Hogwarts. This spell will only work on some doors and chests.

Another tough boss is Aragog the Spider. Don't attack Aragog right away, first use Incendio to burn the web. Once you've burned enough webbing, Aragog will drop into the pit. In the pit, you can only hurt Aragog's soft belly. Dodge attacks and run around until it rears up - then blast it with second level spells. Use quick shots, don't stand still long enough to charge up. Hedwig drops sacks of power ups to help you. Use Flipendo to knock them out of the webbing so you can grab them. If that doesn't work, try using a giant can of bug spray!

When you do not want to be hit by ghosts and lose all your items (Balloons, Beans, and sometimes Stink Pellets) just stand on the ledge until the specter nears you. Tap the Analog-stick so that you will fall and catch the ledge. When you are hanging, they cannot hit you and cause your items to go flying.

Another way to avoid the ghosts and keep from losing your collected items is to use Lumos. Hold Down to maximize the spell. The ghosts will not hit you when the light is on. Sometimes this requires careful timing because you are trying to search and collect items at the same time.

Once you enter Diagon Alley, there is a way to avoid Ginny and Mrs. Weasly. Stay against the left wall and you will be able to avoid them. Also, when you finish getting all of Ginny's lost things, stay against the opposite wall of where they are (opposite of Florrish and Blotts) and remain close to the wall.

After you've gotten past Fluffy, The Devil's Snare, The Winged Keys, Beat the Giant Chess set and gotten Past the moving potions. When proffeser Quirrel is standing on the balcony go into the door and let him talk when he is finished talking enter the super jump code get the four chocolate frogs and go into the next room.

When the Whomping Willow pounds the ground, hide in the corner where you entered the lair. When it stops pounding, lock on to the limbs and hit them quickly. Then lock onto the Willow's eye and blast it until your attacks stop damaging it. Watch for Hedwig dropping Cauldron Cakes and Beans to help you out. That should help you beat the Whomping Willow.

Use the Skurge spell on a chest covered in ectoplasm behind a tapestry (you need the scissors spell) on the third floor, by the Defense against the Black Arts classroom.

Gather every item for the students around Hogwarts (not the Notice Board). You have to actually find the people. The final person will give you a key to the confiscated items room. In there are six Wizards cards and the biggest Bertie Bots Bean Bag.

When you get to the Polyjuice potion level when you turn into Crabbe and Goyle, allow yourself to get caught by the Prefects. The Prefects will take away at least 5 House Points from Slytherin. This is very helpful if they are ahead of you on House Points. Note: This trick may not work on all of the Prefects.

When Hermione changes you into Goyle, go out at night and try to get caught by the Prefects (the people that patrol the halls). When you do, Slytherin will get 5 house points deducted. You may repeat this process a few times, but after awhile this will stop.
