Quake 2

To acquire 999 health, push the Tilde [~] key to bring up the console. Then type "give health 999" and push Enter.

Note: If you collect other health items, your health meter will go back to the normal 100 health.

When falling from high locations, hold [Jump]and you will receive any damage.

To change the crosshair, push the Tilde [~] key and type, "Crosshairx" where x is the magnification constant; then push Enter.

Note: X is a value between 1 and 5.

Shoot him in the head with a rail gun. He will fallover and not be able to attack you. Note: This only works whenhe is small.

In the room after you defeat the Makron, press oneof the buttons next to the sliding doors in the floor. Run tothe other side of the room where there is another button and door.Run into the door in the floor before it closes. Go down the passagewayuntil you see a button on the wall. Turn around the corner andyou will see a crack in the wall. Shoot it and go through thepassageway. You will see an on screen message stating "Welcometo the id gallery" or something similar. In here you willsee the pictures of the game's development team and buttons onthe floor. Once you push all the buttons on the floor, a holewill be blown open in the floor. Note: Activate the buttons onthe floor and the pictures are done as follows. Press the firstbutton on the right and the picture in front of it will slidedown into the floor. A gray picture will burn you. If you pressthe floor button in front of the other gray picture (across fromthe red one), it will explode. The red one's mouth slides openand a few body parts will fall out. If you push the button infront of the last one down (the blue one) it will start to spin.Once the hole is blown open in the floor, explore it. You willfind a pool and a Tank having a pool party with two Iron Maidensand two tortured Marines on either side. Do not bother shootingthe Tank and the two Iron Maidens as they will not shoot backand they are invincible. The only way out of here is back theway you came.

The Give command brings forth an item or object, player or enemy. To ‘give’ an object, push the Tilde key [~] and type "Givex" where x is the singular form of the desired item (without spaces).

To see pictures of Quake 2 staff, first defeat the final boss. Then search the grounds for a stress fracture that has formed during the struggle. Shoot the crumbling surface and enter the crawl space.
