Tap twice when your paddle is ready to hit the ball on your own side before bounces over the net. Try to stay the proper distance away from the net when you serve to avoid hitting the net or putting the ball off the table.

Move your paddle to one side, then immediately slide it to the opposite side while coming in contact with the ball. If done correctly, you will execute a spin shot that might throw off your opponent.
