Metroid Prime

Once you beat Metroid Fusion for the GBA and link up to your Gamecube you can play classic Metroid. The following passwords are for the Classic Metroid game. Enter these by pressing Z at the main menu while your GBA and Gamecube are linked.

Power Troopers
Use Normal Beams or charge a Normal Beam at it three to four times.

Wave Troopers
Use Wave Beams or charge a Wave Beam at it (two to four times).

Ice Troopers
Use Ice Beams or charge an Ice Beam at it and finish it with one missile.

Shadow Pirates
Use the Thermal Visor to see them. Use Wave Beams or charge a Wave Beam at it at full force (two to four times); or, fire with ease with the Plasma Beam.

Plasma Troopers
Fire at them with your Plasma Beam three or four times. Hide behind a wall and the Plasma Beam will end up finishing them with its burning effect. Do this to other pirates as well, even though they only need about three shots to be killed, only about one will evaporate them if you just wait patiently.

This trick requires 2 missiles. Press the Y button to fire a missile, then press the A button & the Y button at the same time right after the 1st missile. The 2nd missile launches right after the 1st one! It's a lot faster than just firing missiles one after the other.

During Ridley's second phase, use the Wavebuster. With enough Missiles, he dies in one hit.

Near the point at which you start is something resembling a twig embedded into the ground. While standing on top of this twig, you are completely immune to Metroid Prime's shockwave, it's only (common) attack. The only things that can hurt you are the short range lunge attack and spawned Metroids, which fall easily anyway.

Curiously, while standing here, Metroid Prime will not change emission spectra without laying a pool of Phazon, which helps the fight along considerably.

1.) Chozo Ruins, Transport Access North
2.) Use the West Furnace Access :: Chozo Ruins, Furnace
3.) High on ledge. Use Plaza Access from Vault :: Chozo Ruins, Main Plaza
4.) Use spinners to activate Morph Ball slot. Bomb slot to fill room with water. Located direclty across floating platforms down angled tunnel :: Phendrana Drifts, Ruined Courtyard
5.) Hidden in same stasis containment as Metroids. Use missile to blast glass open :: Phendrana Drifts, Research Lab Aether
6.) Use Thermal Visor to send power to cooling machine. Located behind purple passage (North) :: Magmoor Caverns, Magmoor Workstation
7.) Activate Ice Beam Morph Ball slot behind Chozo elder. Path leads underground :: Chozo Ruins, Hall of Elders
8.) Use bombs to propel yourself high in vertical shaft (3.3MB Quicktime) :: Tallon Overworld, Hydro Access Tunnel
9.) Super Bomb bendezium vent, roll through tunnel, scan to activate fans :: Phazon Mines, Ventilation Shaft
10.) Use half-pipe to reach Morph Ball slots, send power to elevator, and follow Spider Ball track (5.0 MB Quicktime). :: Chozo Ruins, Training Chamber
11.) Defeat Omega Pirate, exit second level :: Phazon Mines, Processing Center Access
12.) Blast wall of ice with Plasma Beam to melt :: Phendrana Drifts, Transport Access

With the first gun equipped, rapidly press Y + A. As soon as the missile fires, the gun will switch back to beam weapon mode, but when you press Y again, it fires another missile. This can take down enemies in a shorter time, preventing them from having more attacks on you.

When you enter the Omega Pirate's stasis chamber room for the boss fight(It's for getting the Phazon Suit) switch to your Scan Visor. Now lock onto the Omega pirate and walk to his left, start scanning him and walk toward him until a Cinema screen appears. When the movie screen appears press start to skip this little movie. You should see him without the stasis chamber around him. This gives you the Chance to Blow off one of his Shoulder/Knee pads before he even wakes up.

In the beginning, there are forcefields but if you shoot a missile over it and lock on to a meteor, you should break it and make it go faster.

Note: This trick requires Metroid Fusion and the Game Boy Advance and a link cable. Successfully complete Metroid Prime and save the game. Connect both games with the link cable to unlock Samus' Metroid Fusion costume.
