The Mushroom Kingdom just got a whole lot more hectic as Mario and friends double up for furious kart racing. This time around, each kart holds two racers that can switch places at any time, so choose from a huge cast of favorites and pair them up any way you see fit. The character in front handles the driving duties, while the character in the rear doles out damage with six normal items and eight special items that only specific characters can use. Get ready for some intense multiplayer mayhem with your favorite characters, including Mario, Luigi, Donkey Kong, Peach, Bowser, and Koopa.

Turbo Boost after Lakitu Retrieval
If you fall off the track or get stuck underwater for more than a couple moments, Lakitu comes to pull you out and place you on the track again. When he picks you up, wait until just before you touch the track again, then press the acceleration and you'll get a turbo boost if you timed it correctly.

Unlocking new Karts in Grand Prix
Win a Grand Prix in first place to unlock a new Kart. There is a bonus Kart in each cc class and Grand Prix that you can win (nine total).
Waluigi Stadium Shortcut
When you reach the second turn, before the boosted jump into the fire wheel, take a right, and drive on the dirt path right next to it. Powerslide/Mini-Turbo around the corner afterwards.
Yoshi Circuit Shortcut
After one of the first turns you will see a small tunnel. Use a mushroom to fly across. After the second tunnel there is an opening on the guard rail. Use a Mushroom to fly across and land in a tunnel, and you'll pop out at a U-turn.
