Cheat Codes/Hints
Alternate music
Hold Start on controllers one and two at the Sega logo. Keep both buttons held until the new music begins during the opening sequences.
Alternate stage backgrounds
Hold Start + B or Start + A at the stage selection screen. If in team battle mode, hold Start until the timer reaches zero at the stage selkec. If you have used the above code, you will need to restart
Arcade backgrounds
Begin game play in any mode, then press Start + A + B + X + Y to reset the game. Select team battle, normal, or training mode. Then, hold Start and allow the timer to reach zero at the stage selection screen.
Change Backgrounds
When seclecting a stage, Hold START and press A.
Change winning pose
Hold Punch, Kick, Escape, or Guard immediately after winning a match to select one of four different poses.
Different Costumes
To play in a character's different costumes, press the Start button and then select your character with the A button.
Faster replay
Hold X + Start during the replay.
Fight against Alphabet character
Highlight Akira on the character selection screen and press Start. Then, highlight Lau and press Start. Finally, highlight Pai, hold Start, and press X.
Fight as Silver Dural
Press Start + Y + A at the character selection screen in training mode.
Full pause screen
Pause game play, then hold X + Y.
Hint: Get hit by subway train
Select Kage Maru (the blue ninja) and complete all stages necessary until you get to Sara's stage, which is the subway. Immediately when the fight starts, press Back + P so Kage will simultaneously punch and turn around. At that moment, press Back, then hold Back so that you run away from Sara and into the moving train. If done fast enough, will hit the back of the train and be violently thrown into the stairs. Note: This will reduce your health to the point where the slightest attack from your opponent will instantly knock you out. This is possible with most other characters, but it is easiest with Kage.
Hint: Jacky or Kage: Frying pan pose
Play as Jacky or Kage in versus mode. Defeat your opponent with a perfect victory. Hold Guard + Punch + Escape + Down immediately after the ''KO'' announcement. A frying pan will fall on your character's head during the victory pose.
Metal Pan Revenge!
Choose Vs Mode and have a player choose either Kage or Jacky. Have Kage or Jacky defeat his opponent with a perfect. Immediately after the announcer says ''KO'', have hold GUARD, PUNCH, ESCAPE and Down on the controller for the victory pose. Your character should give a victory sign and a metal pan should drop on his head out of nowhere!
Play as Dural in Training Mode
In Training Mode, select any characters for you and the CPU. When the game asks you to select an arena to fight in, highlight the Train Station (Sarah's background) and press B. You'll be back to the character select, and the CPU's character will be Dural. Press B again to select Dural as your character.
Remixed Intro Song
At the Sega logo screen, hold Start on both the first and second controller. Keep holding both buttons until you hear the music play.

Highlight Akira, press Start, highlight Lau, press Start, highlight Pai, press Start + X, then choose your character
All Enemies as Alphabet Character
Press Y + A + Start at the character selection screen in Training mode.
Fight as Silver Dural
Highlight Akira, press Start, highlight Lion, press Start, highlight Pai, press Start, then select your character
Play as Alphabet Character
Press Down, Up, Right, Left + Start (on character select screen)
Play as Dural
Press X + A + Start (on character select screen in Training Mode)
Play as Dural (Training Mode Only)
Select Victory Pose
After defeating your opponent, press G, P, K, escape or a combination of two keys to select your victory pose.
Slow motion replay
Press B before the instant replay begins.
View the Ending Movie
Once you get to the 9th round the ending movie will be viewable in the History menu.
