Attack Opponent After Winning a Match

After you win a match and your character does his/her victory pose, press Start. You'll be able to attack your fallen opponent while he/she is down.

Clean Pause

Pause the game and press and hold Y,and X.If you entered the code correctly,the screen wont darken and the word pause will not appear on the screen.

Play as Orange Hulk

Put the cursor on Chun-Li and press:

Play as Evil Morrigan

Put the cursor on Zangief and enter the following:

Play as and Save Secret Characters

To unlock the secret characters and save them onto the memory card, you must perform certain tasks to challenge them (and a partner) in Arcade Mode. Defeat them and they will be added to your roster. Note: These are quite difficult to unlock, and make sure you save your progress through the options menu because there is no auto save. It is also suggested that you change the difficulty to one star, change rounds to one, and play on 'easy mode'.

There is no auto load so after saving them, you must also load them for future use.

How to Unlock

Gold War Machine (Iron Man)

Finish five opponents with a hyper combo, finish two rounds with a cross-overattack, and never lose a partner.

Morrigan (Lilith)

Finish two rounds with a cross-over attack, finish seven opponents with a hyper combo, and never lose a partner.

Onslaught

After each secret character has been unlocked (saved to memory card) the "Onslaught" option will be on the game menu.

Orange Hulk

Finish three rounds with a cross-over attack, never lose a partner.

Red Venom (Carnage)

Get first attack every round, finish four rounds with a cross-over attack, finish two opponents with a hyper combo, and never lose a partner.

Roll

Use all helpers every round, finish two rounds with a cross-over attack, finish three opponents with a hyper combo, and never lose a partner.

Shadow Lady (Evil Chun-Li)

Everyround-Switch starting fighters, use all helpers, get all first attacks. Finish with one hyper combo, two team up combos, three cross-over attack.

Play as Onslaught

To play as Onslaught, successfully defeat each of the secret characters in arcade mode, saving then to a memory card. Once all the secret characters have been enabled, the Onslaught mode will open up on the the title screen, enabling player 1 to play Onslaught either with a second player or the CPU.
