Cheat Codes/Hints
Enter Blackwater, Tall Trees and Great Plains early
Float the stagecoach down the river. Do not leave from Thieves Landing as usual, but instead embark from Montana Ford, found to the left of the Pacific Union Camp. Float for awhile until you land on the other side. Once on shore and purchase a home (such as the one at Manzanita Post) and save the game. You can return whenever desired by using via stagecoach, even though the bridges are not built.
Getting a new horse
Once you obtain the lasso, find any herd of wild horses. Lasso and break one. After the new horse is broken in, return to a hitching post and hitch the horse. Then, return to your bunk and save the game. The horse is now yours and will come to you when you whistle for it.
Ghost town
Kill every person and animal in a town to have it marked as a "ghost town". Check the population sign at the town's border to check your progress. The town will remain empty for the remainder of the game. Note: Wearing the Bureau Uniform while doing this is recommended.
Homing projectiles
With a throwing weapon (Flame bottle, knife or dynamite) in hand, enter Dead Eye mode and try to imagine the normal targeting reticule on your screen. The target will not appear, but it works the same. If you rapidly tap R1 Â or RB Â Xbox 360Â Â then it will be easier. When you release the object (automatic after locking on), the projectile will home in on the target. Try this with a stick of dynamite on birds; the effect is hillarious.

- Complete all Tomahawk challenges in Single Player.
- Call it a Comeback! ( 10 points )
- Come back from a 2-0 deficit and win a Hold Your Own game.
- Double bagger ( 10 points )
- Double capture 3 times in a single Gold Rush map.
- Get a kill greater than 35 yards with a Tomahawk.
- Kill 5 players via headshot in a single Shootout or Gang Shootout.
- Reach level 50 and pass into Legend.
- Original Gunslinger ( 10 points )
- Get 25 Deadeye kills with Red.
- Reeeeal Good ( 10 points )
- Get 25 Dynamite kills with Pig Josh.
- Stick and Move ( 10 points )
- Get 3 kills with knives or throwing knives in a single competitive match.
- Who needs Deadeye? ( 10 points )
- Kill 3 or more players in a standoff or showdown.

More horse stamina
Hold X Â or A Â Xbox 360Â Â while riding to maintain a slightly slower speed until stamina regenerates. This is helpful when attempting to acquire the U.S. Marshal uniform.
Mounts
Reach the indicated level to unlock the corresponding mount. Note: For the "Legendary" mounts, you must reach level 50, then continue to play in "Legendary" mode back at level 1 and level up again the indicated number of times.
El Señor : Level 1.
Lustiano Nag : Level 4.
Turkmen : Level 8.
Cleveland Bay : Level 22.
Hungarian Half-bred : Level 33.
American Standardbred : Level 40.
Bonzo : Level 50.
Buffalo: Level 50.
Albino Buffalo: Level 50 for the second time.
Super Bull: Level 50 for the third time.
Zebra Donkey : Level 50 for the fourth time.
Never get wanted level
Go to Thieves' Landing while wearing your bandanna. Once there, you can do anything desired without getting a wanted level. Note: If you leave the town this will not work anywhere else.
Outlaws To The End: Achievements

- 2 guys, 1 Coop ( 10 points )
- Complete a Co-Op mission with just 2 people.
- Complete a Co-Op mission without dying.
