Featuring a robust crafting system, unique survival guide and a host of playable characters, How to Survive strands players on a remote archipelago off the coast of Colombia in the aftermath of an unexplained accident...but you're not alone. In order to survive, you must fulfill the most basic of needs - seeking out food, water and shelter, as well as crafting dozens of tools and weapons from fishing rods to Molotov cocktails. Players can also team up with other survivors in local and online multiplayer story and challenge modes to take on a growing array of the infected.

Cheat Codes/Hints

Easy "Level Up" achievement or trophy

After leveling up, open the "Character" menu. Scroll through the menu until you reach the "Skill" menu. Spend your first skill point to expand your skill tree to a few different paths.

Easy "Speed killing" achievement or trophy

Run across a map and begin kiting zombies. Get into a corner to increase the chance of damaging them all. Use an elemental weapon or ammunition (incendiary arrows, incendiary ammunition, explosive ammunition or electricity) to kill the group quickly.

Easy "Survival marathoner" achievement or trophy

Use Abbey and her skills to reduce the fall of food, thirst, and sleep as well as her +50% incendiary and explosive damage and +50% damage at night. Note: Build an Automatic Gun Turret by combining a Diving Tank, Short Tube, Motorbike Motor, Electric Device, and Hardware.

Easy "Wait your turn" achievement or trophy

Fight a group of at least five zombies. After stunning them, press F as soon as you see the flashing instant kill message appears.
